Two notes on that table. The Lost Mary listing states no PG/VG ratio while the RandM listing confirms 50:50, so check the bottle label if you need that figure for a fussy coil. Free delivery starts on orders over £25, so one box of RandM clears it and a single box of Lost Mary does not.

Which Lost Mary Nic Salt Flavours and RandM Tornado Flavours Overlap

Eight flavours appear in both ranges, so a straight swap is possible. Where they split is the long tail.

RandM carries the sweet shop end: Skittles, Gummy Bear, Rainbow, Ice Pop, Strawberry Donut, Cola, Cola Ice and Dr Blue. Lost Mary leans fruit and menthol with Cherry Mojito, Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava, Fresh Mint, Blackberry Ice, Triple Mango and Mr Blue.

So the rule is simple. Want candy, bakery or cola, go RandM. Want clean fruit or a straight mint, Lost Mary covers it. If your all-day flavour is one of the eight below, buy on price and pick Lost Mary:

• Banana Ice

• Blueberry Cherry Cranberry

• Grape Ice

• Lemon Lime (listed as Lemon and Lime by RandM)

• Pineapple Ice

• Pink Lemonade

• Strawberry Banana

• Strawberry Ice

Why RandM Tornado Nic Salt Offers 10mg and Lost Mary Nic Salt Does Not

This is the biggest practical difference between the two, and most comparisons skip it. If you smoked 15 or more a day, or came off 20mg prefilled vapes, 20mg is the right starting point either way. The 10mg option matters in two other situations:

• You are stepping down. If you have been on 20mg bars for a year and want to taper, Lost Mary gives you no route without mixing in a zero-nicotine liquid yourself. RandM does.

• You vape all day at your desk. Constant 20mg sipping gets heavy, and people who vape steadily rather than in bursts usually find 10mg sits better.

How Long a 10ml Bottle of Lost Mary Nic Salt or RandM Tornado Lasts

Marketing never covers this part. These are estimates based on typical daily use, not measured figures, so your own rate will vary with how hard you draw and which kit you run

Put cost against that. At 2ml a day, Lost Mary runs around 32p a day and RandM around 40p, a gap of roughly £29 over a year. The 40p premium buys 11 extra flavours and the 10mg option.

What Vaping Products Duty Means for Lost Mary Nic Salt and RandM Tornado Prices

Vaping Products Duty is live. It has applied since 1 October 2026 at a flat £2.20 per 10ml of e-liquid, nicotine or not, which works out at 22p per ml and 44p on a 2ml pod. VAT goes on top, so the real-world figure is closer to £2.64 per 10ml.

Now run that against a box of ten 10ml bottles. That is 100ml, carrying £22 of duty, or around £26.40 once VAT is added. Both boxes currently sell below that figure, and the only way that arithmetic works is pre-duty stock being sold through the grace period. Check the retail packaging for a stamp when you buy.

The dates that matter:

• Products made in or imported into the UK since 1 October 2026 must carry a vaping duty stamp.

• Transitional non-digital stamps were allowed until 31 December 2026, with digital stamps mandatory from 1 January 2027.

• Older unstamped stock can be sold until 31 March 2027.

• From 1 April 2027, every vaping product sold in the UK must carry a valid duty stamp, and HMRC advises consumers to buy only stamped products.

Which Pod Kits Suit Lost Mary Nic Salt and RandM Tornado Nic Salts

Both are built for low-power mouth-to-lung vaping, so the kit list is the same for each. Any refillable pod kit with coils of 1.0 ohm or higher will handle them. What to avoid is a sub-ohm tank, because high wattage plus 20mg nic salt gives a harsh hit that puts people off refillables entirely.

If refilling is not for you, prefilled pods remain the simpler option since single-use disposables were banned on 1 June 2025. Our guide to vape pods vs disposable style pods runs the costs both ways.

Three checks before you fill either liquid:

• Shake the bottle, because flavour settles.

• Fill to just below the max line, not over it.

• Let a fresh coil soak for about five minutes before the first draw, or it tastes burnt.

Lost Mary Nic Salt vs RandM Tornado: Which to Buy

For most people Lost Mary is the sensible buy at £15.99, because 40p a bottle adds up and the fruit and ice flavours cover what most ex-bar users actually vape. Go for RandM at £19.99 if you want 10mg instead of 20mg, or if candy and cola flavours are what keep you off cigarettes. Neither choice locks you in, since both are 10ml TPD bottles that run in the same kits, and the wider nicotine salts range has other brands at similar money. The one thing worth holding in mind is the stamp deadline of 31 March 2027, after which unstamped stock cannot be sold at all.

Lost Mary Nic Salt vs RandM Tornado Nic Salt FAQs

Is Lost Mary nic salt the same liquid as a Lost Mary vape?

MARYLIQ is Lost Mary's own bottled nic salt range and shares flavour names with its prefilled vapes, including Blueberry Sour Raspberry and Triple Mango. Taste is close, though a refillable pod and coil will never deliver it identically to a sealed prefilled pod.

Can I use RandM Tornado nic salts in any pod kit?

Any refillable pod kit or low-wattage mouth-to-lung device with coils of 1.0 ohm or higher. Avoid sub-ohm tanks, because high power with 20mg nic salt gives a harsh hit. Our refillable vape pod kits range lists coil resistances on each product page.

Which is cheaper, Lost Mary nic salt or RandM Tornado?

Lost Mary. A box of ten is £15.99 against £19.99 for RandM, so £1.60 per 10ml bottle rather than £2.00. At around 2ml a day that is roughly 8p a day, or about £29 over a year.

Does Lost Mary nic salt come in 10mg?

Not at Vape Squard. The Lost Mary Nic Salt range here is 20mg/ml across all 21 flavours. If you want 10mg, RandM Tornado 7000 nic salts offer it on every flavour at the same box price.

How many flavours do these ranges have?

RandM Tornado 7000 nic salts have 32 flavours and Lost Mary Nic Salt has 21. Eight overlap, including Grape Ice, Strawberry Ice and Pink Lemonade. Our RandM Tornado 7000 guide and the piece on how long Lost Mary pods last cover each brand in more detail.
