Age Verification When Buying Vaping Products
As per current UK legislation, e-cigarette goods can only be purchased and shipped to individuals who are older than 18. As a responsible brand and retailer, we take age verification very seriously and endeavor to confirm that every single one of our customers are over 18.
How Many Times Do I Need to Verify?
You only need to go through the age verification process once, and if it runs smoothly, you don't even need to take an extra step other than wait an extra few seconds. Once you're verified as being 18 or over, you will not need to go through the process again.
How Do We Verify Your Age?
The verification of your age is done through a third-party service that is recognized in the vaping industry.
To verify that you are 18 or older, the system conducts several independent checks, including checks on your credit record and the UK electoral roll. Our goal is to carry out as few checks as possible, and we'll only check further records if we’re not able to verify your age through prior performed check(s).
You may receive notification if a credit check has been made against your credit record if you are registered with a credit reporting agency (e.g. Equifax, Experian, etc.). This is referred to as a "soft check" and it is not considered a negative item on your credit report.You must use the same name for both your billing address and delivery address in order to complete the checkout process.
What Information Do We Use To Verify Your Age?
Our system verifies your age using the information that you provide when you’re at checkout (e.g. your full name, current address, date of birth). Our system uses your billing address as your current home address. Ensure your billing address accurately reflects your current address.
What Other Verification Methods Are Available?
During checkout, if it is difficult to verify that you’re over 18, you will be asked to provide additional information; either the last line of the passport code or your driver's license number.
In case you are still unable to be verified, we will request that you send us a photo of your ID which will be manually reviewed by one of the support team. Our systems may retain copies of identification sent to us for up to 48 hours, but we do not store copies.
You only need to verify your age once. Once we can determine that you’re over 18, you’ll be automatically verified on all future orders.
